Upper Shunda Creek Camground - situated along Shunda Creek in the spectacular Canadian Rockies. A clean, well-managed family campground Hosted by Linda and Gordon Latter (on-site campground operators).

Our compground features three seperate loops:

Loop A:
Located among mature stands of Pine, Spruce and Aspen - suited for RV's up to 30 ft. long.

Loop B:
Also set among Pine, Spruce and Aspen - suited for tenting and RV's up to 20 ft. long.

Creekside:
Located along the picturesque Shunda Creek with a view of the mountains - suited for BIG RIGS - any length, any height (area may also be used for group camping)

We are a staging area for hiking Coliseum Mountain, Baldy Mountain, the Shunda Meadow and spectacular ATV trails. To learn more about the myriad of attractions in the area, just ask Linda or Gordon, site operators - here to help! Less than one hour from the Banff /Jasper Icefield Parkway

Close to the historic village of Nordegg - golf at one of Alberta's oldest 9 hole courses

ATV's may be unloaded on registered camp sites.

We can accomodate large camping groups as well.

There are no hook-ups however generators are welcome (operational hours in effect)

• Picnic Tables on all sites
• Open Fire Pits on all sites
• Fresh water and dump station nearby
• Pump water is located in Loop B
• Garbage and recycling containers
• Clean outhouses with hand sanitizer
• Fishing on site

For rent - a 2004 28 ft. FKS trailer for $80/night plus camping fee.
Stay 3 or more nights and camping fees are waived.

Campers are responsible for their own food, bedding, towels and toiletries. Own generators are welcome. Additional services may be provided upon request - bedding, towels etc. please let us know what you may need.
